"Cotton's beard" larded slippers pattern

Walk warm and on clouds thanks to our superb larded slippers!

Do you have cold feet when the first frosts arrive? Do you want to give a gift that will be cherished and will make people envious?

- The slippers are entirely knitted in the round , therefore, without any seams. We recommend the Magic Loop method in order to use only one size of needles throughout the project.

- The slippers are "larded" , a technique which consists of inserting "lardons" of carded wool into the knit. These wool gibs will fully line the slipper as if you were walking in lined boots.

Warmer slippers? There is no such thing !

- The pattern comes in 5 adult sizes and will allow you to fit everyone

Women's XS (S, M); Male M (L) corresponding to a foot length of 20 -21 cm / 22-24 cm / 25-27 cm/ 28-29 cm/ 30 cm

- Required level : Intermediate

- Techniques used

Turkish Cast on, Magic Loop, Lardage, short rows, circular knitting, garter stitch and circular stocking stitch, 1/1 rib.

- Wool used

• 180 (200, 200); 240 (260) grams of our CASA yarn by La Maison Tricotée.
  
• 50 grams of "Merino Sliver" carded wool by Fleece Artist

- Needles and accessories used

• - 5 mm needles in 40" in metal or wood
• - Yarn needle
• - 4 reference rings.
