Directionsµ

Cast on 5 stitches with either the darker color or the lighter one.

set up row:

Row 1 (RS): K1, yo, K1, yo, pm, K1, pm, yo, K1, yo, K1.

Row 2: Knit to end.

body section

Row 1: K1, yo, knit to marker, yo, sm, K1, sm, yo, knit to last stitch, yo, K1.

Row 2: Knit to end.

Repeat these 2 rows till you almost finish the ball of the first color, ending with row 2.

Cut the yarn and join the second color in the order of the gradient set.

pattern when changing color

** Row 1 (RS): K1, yo, K1, repeat (yo, K2tog) to marker, yo, sm, K1, sm, yo, K1, repeat (yo, K2tog) to last stitch, yo, K1.

Row 2: Knit to the end.

Then, knit the 2 rows from the body section above untill you almost finish the second ball, ending with the row 2.**

Cut the yarn and join the third color, repeat from ** to **.

Knit in the same pattern with the fourth ball.

When you finished the fourth ball, join the fifth color and continue to border section.

Border

Row 1 (RS): K1, yo, K1, repeat (yo, K2tog) to marker, yo, sm, K1, sm, yo, K1, repeat (yo, K2tog) to last stitch, yo, K1.

Row 2: Knit to the end.

Repeat these 2 rows till you almost finish the last ball (be carefull to have enough for the cast off!) ending with a row 2. Then, cast off very loosely. Block to desired size.
