What will I learn?

In the form of online workshops of approximately 1 hour, we will cover:

• Taking measurements to choose your size
• The sample and calculations to transform lengths and widths into stitches and rows
• Different cast-on and cast-off techniques
• Different stitches to customize your borders
• The theory of the color wheel to know how to arrange your colors harmoniously
• Wool weights
• The different fibers and their characteristics
• Create round, V, square, boat necklines, etc.
• shape a sweater

And lots of other tips to create a sweater that suits you.

In addition to your 8 online courses, you will receive sheets before each course to complete to create your design notebook and help you in the process.

The workshops will be given live on Saturdays at 10:10 a.m. (Montreal time, Canada)

HOW ?

The day before the course, you will receive a link to join the live session on YouTube where you can interact.

This link will allow you to watch the course as many times as you want.

At the end of your course, you will receive a link to the full playlist of your course.

You can save it in your Youtube library to watch all your courses at your own pace!

We will also offer you the opportunity to join the cohort of summer 2024 students on the SLACK application. A free application, without advertising and which does not use your personal data. You will be able to interact with your “class”, discover their creations and motivate yourself!

Celine Barbeau

Before opening La Maison Tricotée, Céline Barbeau lived in Toulouse where she shared her professional life between hosting “Tricot-Thés” and her profession as a Storyteller.

Having lived in Quebec for 18 years, she opened the first “Café-Tricot” in Montreal in 2013.

Céline has been knitting for over twenty years. She has been designing and teaching for 22 years.

Following the Covid pandemic, the majority of its classes moved online.

A turning point which made it possible to share his passion with a wider audience.

Invited as a Knitting teacher at numerous festivals in Quebec and France, enjoy her humor and her pleasure of teaching!
