Material

• 350 g of medium weight wool (Worsted) . We suggest CASA by weight, 100% Peruvian, medium (worsted), 1 gr/2 m
• One (1) 8 mm (US 11) circular needle
• One (1) yarn needle
• Two (2) leather ties (optional)

Sample

13 sts for 10 cm with 8 mm needles in broken ribs (washed and dried). Check sample and adjust needle number if necessary.

SS simple overlock (slip a stitch, knit the next stitch then bind off the slipped stitch on the knitted stitch)

SSV single purl overlock (slip a stitch, purl the next stitch then fold the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch)

Realization

Cast on 36 stitches with 8 mm needles and knit 9 rows in garter stitch.

Continue with broken ribs as follows:

Row 1: knit 1, * knit 1, purl 1 *, repeat from * to * and finish with knit 1.

Row 2: repeat row 1.

Row 3: Knit all stitches.

Row 4: Purl all stitches.

Repeat these 4 rows until the total height is 135 cm. Knit 9 rows of garter stitch and cast off loosely.
