This fall's big favorite!

Available online and in Gilford

When my father sent me some skeins from his native Brittany, he had no idea how much I would fall in love with them! Even more than the salted caramels in the package... (And that's saying something!)

Bouclelaine is a small family spinning mill whose mission is to promote local fleeces.

The Merino-Angora is a little marvel. Angora rabbit wool brings great softness and a subtle halo throught out the knitting. The wool of merino sheep reinforces everything with its warmth and structure.

It's impossible to resist!

Our suggestions for highlighting it:

- The Lunenburg sweater by Amy Christoffers (in English and for a fee). This Bohus-inspired sweater just begs to be knitted in Merino-Angora. Traditionally, Bohus sweaters used angora with wool to develop a beautiful halo.

Winter shawls will also be at their best with this wool as soft as

The Sophie shawl from Petiteknit by mixing a strand of Merino-Alpaca with a strand of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive.
