The Return to Maine series includes 14 sewing and knitting patterns to create a complete wardrobe, plus a selection of beautiful photos, stories and essays from our travels and Maine artisans.

A follow-up to the most popular and out-of-print issue of the By Hand series (Lookbook 2: Portland, Maine), this book offers a more comprehensive look at the landscapes and natural splendor of Maine, which inspired the collection that accompanied.

The book also includes a selection of the best essays and writings from the Return to Maine Journal series, including our Road Trip on US Route 1, visits to Acadia and Deer Isle, a canoe Moose Safari, and On the Fly, a special article by Bri Dostie and Noam Stark, two women who practice fly fishing.

The pages are filled with beautiful color photographs by Jenn Bakos.
